High Speed Superbus Debuts In Dubai

A new means of mass transporatation has debuted in the United Arab Emirates which could revolutionize the way we commute. Dubbed the Superbus,the massive veicle tips the scales at 21,000 lbs and measures 49.21 ft in length. It can seat comfortably seat 23 passengers, is capable of traveling at speeds of 155 mph. The price tag? A whopping.€13 million.

Invented by Wubbo Ockels, the Superbus makes extensive use of lightweight materials such like carbon fiber for both the frame and the body. The innovative vehicle uses electric motors powered by a lithium polymer battery pack and features a braking energy recovery system.

It will reportedly be used for a commute between Abu Dhabi and Dubai by a sheikh.
