Haute Event Preview: Junior League of San Francisco and Dwell Media Present “Modernism Through the Ages”

Mark your calendars for October 28 -30, 2011, when the The Junior League of San Francisco partners with Dwell Media to present “Modernism Through the Ages”. Inspired by engaging design paired with public interaction, the weekend event will showcase the 2011 Dwell Showhome Design Lab.

Dwell has hand-selected 20 Bay Area designers and design manufacturers who have transformed the unfinished penthouse into an exhibition wonderland, bringing their most experimental inspirations and ideas to life: from hanging cloud installations, to one-of-a-kind furniture and lighting to paintings by Applegate Tran created just for the event.

“This is a unique and exciting event for San Francisco and design enthusiasts. I’m honored to be chairing such an incredible event, especially during the League’s 100th anniversary of commitment to the community,” said Lillian Phan, 2011 Home Tour Chair. “Home Tour guests will be given exclusive access into Seacliff homes and will truly understand how the historical homes have been modernized through the ages.”
