Haute Event Preview: Indian Summer Cocktail Competition Featuring No. 209 Gin

This Wednesday, October 12, 2011, artisanal cocktail pioneer Scott Beattie and SF-Based Distillery No. 209 are teaming up for the No. 209 Gin Indian Summer Cocktail Competition at Spoonbar at in Healdsburg, California. A selection of well-known bartenders from the finest restaurants in Napa Valley and Sonoma County will be competing and mixing up innovative and delicious cocktails.
Next week’s competition is the first installment of five preliminary competitions (dates TBD), each representing a different Bay Area region, with the finals taking place in San Francisco in 2012. The top three finalists from each preliminary competition will proceed to the final round.
