The Thompson Hotel Takes South Beach
Thompson Hotels returns to SoBe after the company talked take over with Hotel Victor. Renamed Thompson Ocean Drive, the new hotel is currently undergoing multi-million dollar renovation to be completed in 2012. Under Thompson management effective immediately, Thompson Hotels co-owner Stephen Brandman promises the sophistication and luxury for which the Thompson is known:
“We are elated to bring Thompson Hotels to Miami, and look forward to introducing the Thompson nuances of style and service to the market,” said Brandman.
A stay at the Thompson means chic rooms, a rooftop bar and models at $249 a night.
