The Inaugural St. Regis 1904 Polo Cup At The Greenwich Polo Club
This past Saturday, September 17, the St. Regis Hotels & Resorts celebrated the beloved sport of Polo by holding the very first St. Regis 1904 Polo Cup at the Greenwich Polo Club in Greenwich, Connecticut. Coca-Cola teamed up with American Express to sponsor this special event, which also marked the club’s 30th anniversary.
The Brant Foundation Art Study center hosted a pre-polo reception, complete with a viewing of Josh Smith’s “American Dream” and complimentary champagne. Afterwards, guests were invited up to the St. Regis’ hospitality marquee to view the match and enjoy various specialty beverages and cocktails.
Two very special men participated in the match; world-renowned polo players Nacho Figueras and Mariano Aguerre. Other notable guests included Peter Brant, Jason Wu, Nacho Figueras, Delfina Blaquier, Valentino Garavani, Giancarlo Giammetti, Michael Michelle, Olivia Chantecaille & Ren Grady, Cameron Silver, Michelle Harper, Jessica Hart, Vladimir Restoin- Roitfeld and Stavros Niarchos. Needless to say, this was one of the year’s hautest events.
