New York Fashion Week 2011: Herve Leger S/S 2012

The Herve Leger Spring/Summer 2012 collection was about metallic; as well as cut outs, knee high gladiator sandals, and geometric patterns. With an assortment composed mostly of neutral colors, other features included fringed hems and harness-inspired details. Models walked the runway with sleek hair that was tied back, paired with fresh-faced natural make up. My favorite piece, a white gown with deep slits and a cut out bodice, was the stand-out look that closed the show. The list of attendees included fashion blogger Bryan Boy, Ashlee Simpson, and LeAnn Rimes.  Max and Lubov Azria are the masterminds behind the famed bandage dress that has become a staple in every girl’s wardrobe.
