MOCA Pacific Design Center Hosts Elizabeth Taylor Estate Auction Preview

News | September 26, 2011

Relics of the world’s most opulent woman will be showcased at the MOCA Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles next month.

From October 13th to the 16th, fans of the late Elizabeth Taylor can view jewels, including a flawless 33-carat rectangular-cut diamond- gifted from two-time-husband Richard Burton (estimated at $2.5 million to $3.5 million), and original paintings by Taylor admirer Andy Warhol as part of an auction preview and exhibition curated by Christie’s.

Tickets for the exhibit are on sale now at christies.com for $20 per ticket while supplies last.

Profits from the exhibit and auction preview at MOCA’s Pacific Design Center will be split between the museum and the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
