The Restaurant at Meadowood has just announced that Michael Ireland was named their new wine director.
Michael Ireland has worked at some of the best wine spots in the Bay Area such as the French Laundry (where he works as a sommelier in 2006), Quince and most recently Benu.

Ireland joins The Restaurant at Meadowood’s chef Christopher Kostow and director Nathaniel Dorn. He succeeds Rom Toulon who left his position as wine director earlier this summer.
The Restaurant has three Michelin stars and four Chronicle stars.
