Art and basketball are coming together to help encourage Miami’s youth. On Saturday September 17th, LeBron James and David “LEBO” Le Batard will team up to celebrate the basketball court renovations at the Kendall Club location of the Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dade, in an effort to promote healthy lifestyles for children. This event is part of Sprite’s initiative to encourage daily activity and healthy living in Miami.

Sprite is donating $15,000 to the Kendall location to renovate the outside basketball court and to have a mural painted by Miami’s own LEBO, a project James and the artist will help unveil by signing the wall and giving attendees a photo opportunity. Prior to the big day, a lucky group of 30 children from the local Club will participate in a basketball clinic, where James will make a surprise appearance. Both James and LEBO will be available afterwards for a question and answer session.
