JANELLE MONÁE PERFORMS AT THE GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION OF RENAISSANCE ATLANTA MIDTOWN HOTEL

On September 15^th, Renaissance Hotels hosted a special RLife LIVE performance by Grammy-award nominee and emerging super star Janelle Monáe as part of the grand opening celebration of the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel.

Singer/songwriter and Atlanta native Janelle Monáe debuted her first studio album entitled The ArchAndroid in 2010 which earned her rave reviews and two Grammy nominations, including Best Contemporary R&B album. A true visionary, Monáe combines German Expressionism and Afro-Futurism with cabaret, hip-hop, rock and soul to create an innovative sound all her own.
