Move over Fashion Week, there’s a new girl in town and she’s here for one night only. She’s full of style, energy and attracts New York’s finest. Introducing Fashion’s Night Out, a celebrated evening of style and star-studded events, crafted to support the fashion and retail industries around the world. Tonight, for the third year in a row, designers, models, fashion editors, celebrities, fashionistas and socialites gather throughout New York City for fashion’s sake. Like a haute Halloween for jet-set adults, this year’s Fashions Night Out will undoubtedly include a who’s who of New York, dressed to the nines and roaming the streets from party to party, satisfying their fashion cravings. From exclusive, limited edition items to DJs, photo booths and more, we’ve rounded up the can’t-miss events of this year’s Fashion’s Night Out.

The luxury specialty retaile venue will be participating in Fashion’s Night Out by donating 10 percent of its Madison Avenue flagship store’s sales and 10 percent of its Barneys.com sales from the entire day and evening to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the September 11th attacks and Barneys New York will commemorate this significant date through a fashionable donation to this worthy cause.

One of the most significant fashion photographers of the 20th Century, Bourdin is a favorite photographer of NARS founder and creative director, François Nars who will also be attending the event.

For Fashion Night’s Out, supermodel Jessica Stam will host a chic and glamorous cocktail party. Guests will have a chance to pose in a studio booth with Stam and instantly share the pictures via Twitter, Facebook and e-mail. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while grooving to a performance by Jeanne Marine, Bob Geldof’s girlfriend, and the Swinging Frogs. The first 200 hundred shoppers will be the lucky recipients of Jeanne Marine’s CD. The cover was sketched by designer Bruno Frisoni.

On the second floor, from 6-8 p.m., Stella McCartney models will show off the latest looks while guests use digital Polaroid cameras to capture personal moments with the models which can then be uploaded to the Stella McCartney and Saks Facebook pages, and the link sent to guests so they can tag themselves. Unique Stella truffles will be handed out to guests as well. In addition, Saks will celebrate luxury brand Pringle of Scotland with personal appearances by designer Alistair Carr, as well as actress Tilda Swinton, Louise Wilson from Central Saint Martin, famed jewelry designer Waris Ahluwalia and photographer Ryan McGinley.

On the third floor, bring out your creative side with designer Christian Cota who will be collaborating in digital painting with guests and signing painting prints from 6-7 p.m. You can also expect personal appearances from designer Prabal Gurung from 7:30-8 p.m.  on the third floor and Doo Ri from 8-9 p.m.

On the fourth floor is the official Fashion’s Night Out Blogger Lounge, happening all night. On the fifth floor, experience DJ Questlove who will be spinning while guests can DIY hair wraps with Erica Domesek of P.S. I Made This and Chris Lospalluto of the Sally Hershberger Salon. Additionally, Rebecca Minkoff and The Man Repeller, Leandra Medine will host the Hair Braiding Bar from 6-8 p.m. where you can personalize your braid with strips of Rebecca Minkoff leather. Once you transform your hair, have your nails done by manicurist Lisa Logan from Minx Nails as she will be applying prints on nails at Marc by Marc Jacobs from 6-9 p.m. Also on the fifth floor, learn to surf with Yigal Azrouël’s new line, Cut 25 and snag a pair of custom jeans by J. Brand all night long. Just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be more fun in one store, Ne-Yo will perform one of his chart-topping hits and autograph purchases from his exclusive hat collection.
