Fatburger Looking to Come to New York City

Fatburger, the hamburger joint beloved on the West Coast is shopping for locations all over New York. CEO Andy Wiederhorn tells Grub, “In the next couple of months, you will see half a dozen Fatburgers in New York.” But first, Wiederhorn needs to find “independent operators who want to be in the Fatburger family.” (All interested parties, even a little bit, should email Degelhoff@fatburger.com.) In case you didn’t know, Fatburger, which Kanye owned a couple of, is “a notch above Five Guys” and “just under the gourmet burger restaurants, but only because of our lower price points.” It’s also huge in the Middle East — opening in Iraq this week.
