Carolina Herrera Presents Spring/Summer 2012 to an Audience that Included Nicki Minaj

News | September 13, 2011

The audience at Carolina Herrera’s runway show included the likes of Nicki Minaj, bookended by editors in chief, Anna Wintour and Stefano Tonchi, and wearing a costume covered almost entirely in multi-colored pom poms; as well as a glowing Renée Zellweger, amongst others.

The packed-beyond-capacity show was a nod to Herrera, who rarely disappoints, and this season was no different. Sleek with clean lines, precisely casual, and architecturally driven with a dash of deco, the collection was quite lovely. From sweet printed sun dresses with matching scarves, to gilded trench coats with neat piping and bugle-beaded gowns, there was something for everyone in the audience, even Nicki.
