Stewart Rahr’s Celebration Of Life and Exceptional Friends

News | August 24, 2011

On Saturday August 6, billionaire Stewart Rahr united power players like Bill Clinton and Donald Trump for his annual party, the hottest and most sought-after invite on the East Coast. The swanky Gatsby-esque affair was held at Rahr’s Burnt Point Estate in Wainscott. Food spreads were lavish and the champagne flowed freely, while A-listers like Mark Wahlberg and wife Rhea noshed on the plate-size cookies and cakes on the dessert table.

The entertainment, set up in an amphitheater on the estate’s lawn, didn’t disappoint, either. Industry legend David Foster kicked off the performance and

Clinton and Trump sat front row during performances by American Idol stars Katharine McPhee and Ruben Studdard. Alicia Keys gave an impromptu surprise performance of “Empire State of Mind” to everyone’s delight. But the main event was a concert by Andrea Bocelli to a crowd, delighting a crowd of more than 150 people, including Andre Agassi, Michael Milken, David Koch, Leon Black, Larry Ruvo, Ray Kelly and Richard LeFrak.
