Taka Taka Restaurant Opening on Mexican Independence Day

Mexican sushi and Japanese tacos are going to be the next big thing in casual dining. Taka Taka will blend Mexican and Japanese ingredients, flavors, and sensibilities with dishes such as their Tempura Shrimp Tacos and Sushi Caliente. Chiles will be added to sushi rolls, tortillas to teppanyaki, and chipotles to teriyaki. Sporting a hi-fi conveyor belt, these hot tamales are then transported to waiting tables.

Taka Taka , scheduled to open on September 15th, is located on the corner of Grand and West Broadway, adjacent to the Soho Grand Hotel. Mark your calendars and make sure you’re not the last one to try these new haute foods.
