The world’s automakers have been steadily realizing the enormous potential of the Chinese market.  Luxury automakers in particular have begun to design with an international trajectory in mind.  Rolls-Royce, the seeming king of luxurious motor coaches, is embracing an international market by celebrating the Chinese Year of the Dragon with a limited edition model Phantom.

Rolls-Royce is offering a special design edition of the Phantom and Phantom Extended Wheelbase models to honor the Year of the Dragon.

The special touches are crafted by the company’s expanding Bespoke division, and include such features as a gold-colored exterior coachline and an interior with dragons embroidered in four colors into the headrests, special inlay panels and throw cushions, bridged by LED illuminated door sills identifying the special edition.  To see the entire high-resolution image gallery and the press release, after the jump.
