Northwood Investors Purchase Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Florida Keys

Northwood Investors has acquired the Cheeca Lodge & Spa in the Florida Keys.

The Cheeca Lodge, a AAA four diamond-rated luxury resort has 214 lavish rooms situated on 27 acres of pristine Florida Keys sand and offers an oasis of 1,200 feet of beachfront.  The resort, built in 1946 offers a 9-hole Jack Nicklaus designed golf course, 6 tennis courts, and an iconic 525 foot fishing pier. There has been no comment on the sale price.

Northwood Investors, founded by the former President and CEO of Blackstone Real Estate Advisors John Kukral is a privately-held real estate investment advisor headquartered in New York City.  This is Northwood Investors first acquisition in Florida.

There are no known plans for the hotel as of yet, but it is safe to say that this historical property will remain intact for some time.
