Haute Fashion: MAX&Co. Il Mio Cappello Borsalino Collection
MAX&Co. is teaming up with the time honored hat brand Borsalino, for a special mini collection of four exclusive styles, coordinated to the MAX&Co. fashion contents, each one featuring a different flair.
The MAX&Co. Il mio cappello Borsalino collection will include:
Siena: masculine, classic and traditional.
Milano: wide-brimmed, sophisticated and stylish.
Roma: boasting an oversized brim, sexy and elegant.
Torino: trendy and alternative, full of vibrant panache.
The selection of the materials has focused on various felt looks and includes woolen fabrics in yarn-dyed patterns also used in the MAX&Co. clothing collection. The chromatic palette includes black, wolf gray and neutral hues.
The Borsalino Company was founded back in 1857 in Alessandria, in the Northwest of Italy, as a craft-based workshop.During the Twenties the production reached a record of 2 million hats a year. With the film, Borsalino (1970), starring Alain Delon and Jean Paul Belmondo, and the sequel, Borsalino & Co. (1974), the hats made by made by this Italian company took on an iconic cult status among the younger generation.
MAX&Co. Il mio cappello Borsalino collection will be available this fall at MAX&Co. stores throughout California and Hawaii.
