Emirati Label Bint Thani to Show at London Fashion Week
Esmod graduate Khulood Thani is set to debut her Spring/Summer 2012 collection from her label Bint Thani at the biannual catwalk show A La Mode at London Fashion Week this Fall. Her creations are made with luxurious fabrics of silk, chiffon and satin fusing Parisian style with London’s cutting-edge high-street wear.
Thani is the first Emirati to receive her Masters in Fashion Management and Marketing from Esmod Paris, France’s first fashion school founded in 1841. She has also attended short courses at the London College of Fashion and holds a Masters in Strategic Marketing from the University of Wollongong.
At A La Mode, a catwalk which showcases emerging and Independent designers at London Fashion Week, Thani will join other homegrown brands such as Dima Ayad and Furne One taking their fashion to an international level.
