News | August 22, 2011

The five o’clock shaddow meets his arch nemesis for 100,000 dollars. The limited edition Zafirro Iridium razor made its debut with Oregon based company Bright Light Ventures.

Hayden Hamilton, chief executive officer of Zafirro says the pricey razor caters to a high-end clientele who “appreciate extremely well made products, regardless of their cost.” Made with Iridium, a rare metal similar to platinum, several dozen orders have come out of China, Hong Kong and Japan. When asked about the company’s seemingly lofty ambitions against brands like Gillette, Hamilton answered by speaking highly of Iridium’s unique features including its stand-out sapphire blades, global team of experts and “Made in the U.S.A.” certification.

And the luxury doesnt end there, should your 100,000 dollar shave become dull, Zafirro will sharpen your blade stateside in Portland, Oregon as part of the company’s 10-year guarantee.
