Trump Soho’s Taschen Library

News | July 7, 2011

You’re in Soho. You’re halfway through F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic, and you’re just dying to find out if Gatsby ends up with Daisy Buchannan. You need a reading nook. Fast.

Thankfully, there’s the library at the Trump Soho. Whether you’re delving into Keats or idly flipping through one of the multitude of Taschen books that stock the shelves (we recommend the latter), you’ll be hard pressed to find a reading area more cozy, classy, or beautifully decorated.

The space overlooks the hotel’s lobby and the city street through a wall of glass. It includes a fireplace and wine cellar and is the perfect setting for a cup of coffee or cocktails.

The hotel worked with Taschen to outfit the space exclusively with their books. Lavish art hangs on the walls of the warm, wooded room designed by Rockwell. It is truly a special place, with a diverse and unique collection.
