Hautos: McLaren London Opens at Posh New One Hyde Park Location

McClaren has moved into its prime new location on the ground level of London’s One Hyde Park. McClaren race stars Lewis Hamilton and Jensen Button, whose presence drew even more attention to the legendary marque’s first global retailer unveiling event, attended the grand opening on Tuesday, June 21. The opening of the McLaren London flagship is the first in a series of 35 additional retail openings spanning over 19 countries to open by the end of the year.

The new showroom will stock parts and offer customized service for a range of McLaren cars – beginning with every serviceable spare part and specialists for the brand’s high-performance, carbon fiber-based MP4-12C model. This “pitstop” service concept from the company will allow for timely and efficient repairs.

McLaren will now have a total of three UK retailers – London, Manchester, which opened on June 30, and Birmingham, to open on July 5. According to Luxury Insider, additional global sites will open throughout the year, to begin this summer by tackling their European network of Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland.
