Cheese lovers, food connoisseurs and coffee aficionados rejoice. Jones the grocer, the fifth outpost to open in the UAE, has opened it’s doors in the Al Manara district of Dubai. Located opposite Time Square Mall, the large stand-alone building is easily seen from Sheikh Zayed Road and is certain to have an overwhelming response if the reception by the food scene in Abu Dhabi was anything to go by.
Set to open six major stores over the next 4 years – jones the grocer is putting it’s exclusive providore imprint on the region offering gourmet foods sourced from artisan suppliers, with a focus on natural ingredients and authentic production methods. Here you will find a decadent walk-in temperature and humidity-controlled fromagerie offering cheeses from around the world catagorised by country, type of milk and texture. Relishes, pickles, olives and cuts of dried meat are in abundance as well as freshly baked breads and cakes. Foodie heaven. The relaxed cafe atmosphere is set to be hugely popular; high ceilings, large glass windows and an open plan kitchen invite customers to spend a lazy afternoon over a coffee or two.

The jones the grocer story began in 1996 with the launch of the flagship Australian store in Woollahra, Sydney – jones the grocer has now founded stores across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the UAE.
