Coral Gables Newbie Il Corso Trattoria Introduces Summer Specials

Il Corso Trattoria just opened June 16, but its already changing the restaurant game in Coral Gables. Its new summer specials are sure to please, whether you’re looking for a new happy hour spot or a flavorful weekday meal.

The Italian eatery is hosting happy hour Monday through Friday from 6 to 8 pm, featuring 2-for-1 wells, domestic draft beer and house wine. Live music will entertain weekend guests on Friday and Saturday nights from 8 pm to close at midnight.

Il Corso Trattoria is also offering patrons specials on some of their raved-about dishes. Open for less than a month, Il Corso Trattoria has already earned itself a reputation for serving “the best rustic pizza in Coral Gables.” Summer specials for July and August include Pizza Mondays, Pasta Tuesdays, and Lasagna Thursdays.

Pizza Mondays features $10 brick oven pizzas, ranging from the Salsiccia with Sausage, roma tomato, red onion, olives, basil, fresh mozzarella, and parmigiano, to a classic Margherita pizza topped with fresh basil.

Tuesdays offer a similar $10 deal; patrons can choose from signature dishes like Penne Bolognese and farfalle pasta with roasted chicken.

Lasagna Thursdays’ special is Lasagna Bolognese, with Bolognese meat sauce, mozzarella, and béchamel between layers of pasta.
