China’s School for Gold-Diggers is Now Enrolling
With all the nouveau riche cropping up in China, it was only a matter of time before the gold-diggers caught wind. In fact, there’s now a school in Beijing that recently opened its doors for students looking to perfect their gold-digging skills. The Moral Education Center for Women offers a 30-hour training course for $3,000 and focuses their attention on snagging their pupils a billionaire or millionaire.
The course has a pretty in-depth syllabus on things like proper makeup application, conversational skills, and traditional tea-pouring techniques, according to the Wall Street Journal. Another skill the students will hone is the ability to read their potential target’s character and status. You know, so they don’t waste their time.
While men are not yet able to enroll as students, the school also acts as a matchmaking tool. Wealthy bachelors can be introduced to the student population for an “introductory fee” of $4,500. So far, the school has 2,800 women participating, with one student commenting, “I thought to myself, if I can marry a rich man, at least I won’t have any worries.”
