Chef Thomas Keller Gets Dunked

News | July 20, 2011

On Thursday July 14, Bouchon Bistro in Yountville, CA, hosted a Bastille Day to benefit the Yountville Elementary School. Included in the festivities was a dunk tank and not only was famed Chef Thomas Keller a willing participant, he even tweeted the photos of himself getting dunked:

Keller has eight restaurants and two bakeries in the United States. Keller has penned four award-winning cookbooks. His most recent, entitled “Ad Hoc at Home,” received awards from both the IACP and the James Beard Foundation and appeared on the New York Times Best Sellers list for 6 weeks. Keller is also the only American-born chef to hold multiple three star ratings by the Michelin Guide, having received a total of seven stars in the 2011 editions.

Although he has a laundry list of impressive accolades, Keller remains down to earth and in touch with his local communities.
