Artist Damien Hirst Launches Exclusive Collection of Supreme Skateboard Decks
Renowned British artist Damien Hirst has graced the art world with his prized work in sculpture, painting, drawing, and printmaking. Now the acclaimed visionary is set to add one more medium to his accomplished portfolio with a collection of skateboard decks. His works, which confront the scientific, philosophical, and religious aspects of the human, is bringing his philosophy to the streets with this collection of decks, produced by Supreme and to launch through Other Criteria, who will be holding a launch celebration in-store on Tuesday, July 12 from 6-8 p.m.
All eight of the highly anticipated deck designs will be available through Other Criteria in addition to the original custom-made decks. The store will also carry 40 additional boards signed by Hirst and each with a unique drawing by the artist. A limited amount will be released after the official launch through Other Criteria shops at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13. The decks are priced at £480.00 each and are subject to availability.
The Damien Hirst Supreme Skateboard Deck launch celebration will take place on Tuesday, July 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Other Criteria, located at 14 Hinde Street, London W1U 3BG. For more information, visit www.othercriteria.com.
