AMG Opens Bluestem Brasserie in Downtown San Francisco

Amuse Management Group has introduced their newest venture, Bluestem Brasserie, an urban neighborhood restaurant. Situated where culture, business and fashion meet in downtown San Francisco the brasserie has something for everyone.

The menu contains delicious classics one might expect from a typical brasserie. Appetizing dishes, a diverse selection of cocktails and an extensive wine list draw guests in. Every savory ingredient, including their grass-fed beef, arrives directly from trusted ranchers and farmers. The name of the brasserie, Bluestem, comes from the native North American grass favored by cattle ranchers after all. No meal is complete without a bite of delightfully traditional dessert reinvented for your pallet. All of the mouth-watering cuisine is prepared for your enjoyment by executive chef Sean Canavan.

“I am thrilled to join the Bluestem Brasserie team and to be part of this distinctive new restaurant concept,” said Canavan.  “As a longtime Bay Area resident and chef, I am deeply appreciative of the abundance of talented and hardworking farmers, ranchers and fisherman that bring us the amazing produce of this region.  I look forward to pursuing my interest in butchering whole animals and using them nose-to-tail and creating simple, rustic cuisine that, with our gracious, caring service will give our guests the freedom to either stop by or settle in for a memorable meal.” Canavan has had the opportunity to work at many top restaurants including Left Bank in Larkspur, Kokkari Estiatorio and Pacific Restaurant at San Francisco’s Pan Pacific Hotel.

If the spectacular menu alone isn’t enough to arouse your taste buds then the interior, designed by Olle Lundberg Design, is sure to set the mood. The space, modeled after expansive meadows, provides guests with a comfortable open dining area that flows outwards to the outdoor terrace and rooftop bar.
