Second Annual Ahmad Rashad Celebrity Golf Classic

While the urge to go out east this weekend might be all that’s getting you through the week, we happen to know of a place where you’ll find sand, celebrities, good food and live music—out west.

June 26-27 marks the second annual Ahmad Rashad Celebrity Golf Classic to benefit the White Plains Hospital. The NFL legend will host a VIP Opening Celebration on Sunday at 42 Restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Westchester for friends and special guests. The celebration will include a silent auction and raffle, as well as a performance by Island Def Jam recording artist Jenna Andrews and Vali Entertainment.

The tournament will be held at one of the most exclusive golf courses in the nation, the Quaker Ridge Golf Club, and will be followed by a dinner party and awards ceremony with gift bags full of brand-name goods.

This year will replicate the success of last year’s sold-out, star-studded event. Expected celebrity attendees include Ron Harper, Scott Burrell and other sports greats, as well as Actor Aidan Quinn and renowned sax player Branford Marsalis.
