Save the Date: Taste of the Nation Returns to Miami on July 7

Enjoy giving back while eating delicious food? Taste of the Nation returns to Miami on Thursday, July 7 for its 24th year.

Join event chair and world-renownd chef Allen Susser and over 40 other great chefs at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle for the food event of the summer. All proceeds from the event go to benefit Florida’s chapter of Share Our Strength, the nation’s leading nonprofit organization working to end childhood hunger. In South Florida, the collected funds will be distributed to such organizations like FLIPANY, Feeding South Florida, and Florida Impact. The night’s special theme is “Don’t Ignore the Signs”, modeled after the organization’s national campaign. The divine event will be hosted by local favorites Laurie Jennings and Calvin Hughes and will also include both a live and silent auction.

The night begins with a VIP Champagne reception at 6:00 p.m. and is followed by the main affair at 7:00 p.m. Apart from enjoying Chef Allen’s tantalizing treats, guests will enjoy food from the following restaurants: 1500 Degrees at Eden Roc, Bourbon Steak, China Grill, City Hall (downtown Miami’s newest restaurant), DB Bistro Moderne, The Forge, Joe’s Stone Crab, Meat Market, Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink, Michy’s, Red, The Steakhouse, Steak 954, STK, Surgarcane Raw Bar Grill, Sushi Samba, and Whole Foods Market. Additionally, attendees wishing to extend the party can enjoy an exclusive deal on a night’s stay for being guests of Taste of the Nation.

General admission is $100 per ticket ($125 at the door); VIP tickets are priced at $200 each ($250 at the door). Tickets may be purchased by calling 1-877-26-TASTE or visiting Strength Florida.
