Nutrismart: An Innovative, High-Tech Way to Watch What You Eat
Watching what you eat has just gotten a whole lot easier – and technologically advanced. An innovative new concept called Nutrismart by Hannes Harms has been designed to work with advanced technology to sense what is going into your stomach, how much of it, its caloric value, and more, making it the ultimate tool for the savvy diner.
By replacing traditional barcodes on food packaging with printable RFID tags, Nutrismart will then be able to precisely determine not only the food item, but also its volume and nutritional value, so the user knows exactly what’s getting put into their body through the use of an interior RFID reader. The plate reads the food and acts as an invisible diet management system. Moreover, the infographic-style data can then be sent to a computer of mobile device to track eating habits.
