Mister Collins Opens at ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa

Bal Harbour is not known as a bona fide dining destination. Thankfully Mister Collins is beginning the trend for good restaurants in the area. Haven’t heard of Mister Collins yet?

The restaurant quietly opened inside of  the ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa this month and offers guests the very best in casual American fare in a luxury space. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the small, but cozy space boasts floor to ceiling windows, walnut wood floors, plush seating, and mellow music by John Mayer and Michael Buble. The menu focuses on fresh, local, and high quality ingredients and includes such traditional favorites like pork chops, scallops, and home made pretzels which can be paired with an eclectic wine list. For dessert, their claim to fame is the rich peanut butter pie. Because the menu uses seasonal products, some items will change according to their availability. Currently, corn is the product of choice and can even be found in one of the dessert items, Coconut Ice Cream with Candied Corn.

Another great perk within the restaurant is the private dining room in the back. The room, great for weddings and small reunions alike, offers 180 degree views of the Atlantic Ocean as well as an inviting and luxurious ambiance (just like at your own home, but without all of the work). The room even offers a built-in butler service area and beautifully detailed furniture.

The restaurant was opened in partnership with Andy Yeager, formerly of Hillstone Restaurant Group, and the exceptional hospitality style can be seen in the service’s work, passion, and attention to detail.

Mister Collins is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week and is located at 10295 Collins Avenue inside of ONE Bal Harbour. Follow Mister Collins on Facebook and Twitter. For more information, please visit www.ONELuxuryHotels.com or call 305.455.5460.
