Mexican Taqueria Mercadito Brings New Concept to Espanola Way
Miami’s popular Mexican eatery, Mercadito, has another project in the works–a Spanish-style gastropub, Tavernita will make its way to South Beach by the end of this year.
Tavernita will be serving up sharing portions fit for you and friends, making you feel like you’re in a local neighborhood eatery in Spain. Their famous tapas will feature a mix of both Latin and Mediterranean tastes; and although the menu isn’t completed just yet, we’re sure Executive Chef Poli will be able to maintain Mercadito’s unmatched culinary reputation.
The Tippling Bros, the company that manages the beverages for Mercadito’s Hospitality Group, is working vigorously to create innovative cocktails that will complement all the delicious food that will be served.
Tavernita will be located on the famous Espanola Way on South Beach. Though there are other Spanish restaurants around, Tavernita plans to step it up a notch and bring something distinct and exciting to the neighborhood.
