Haute Summer Obsession: Kai Lani Swimwear

No one knows swimwear like Miami born and raised sisters, Jessica Sierralta and Jordan Schulte, the co-founders of hot new swimwear brand Kai Lani, Hawaiian for ‘Heavenly Sea’. The sisters wanted to create a line that reflected South Florida’s unique effortless-yet-chic style, and just in time for the summer season.

Kai Lani is currently carried in eleven stores, nine in Florida alone, including Jessica’s very-own designer swimwear boutique Mermaids, in the heart of South Miami. In the past ten years since the boutique’s opening, Mermaids has remained a go-to for high-end swimwear and beach accessory brands like L*Space, Vix, and Havaianas. It’s no surprise then, that Kai Lani would be the perfect complement.

Within the brand’s first year, it has managed to not only make an impression based on the gorgeous Italian and Spanish fabrics and patterns used, but a fit to flatter any figure. A selection of triangle or cinched bandeau tops paired with Kai Lani’s signature V-bottom is certainly a summer must-have. With a degree in fashion design from the Miami Art Institute, Jordana, as well as her sister, are two women well equipped for success in the fashion world.
