Save the Date: 9th Annual Wine Aficionado Dinner for Pediatric Cancer Research in Beverly Hills
On Thursday, May 5, the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program will be holding its ninth Annual Wine Aficionado Dinner at the magnificent Beverly Hills SLS Hotel. Since the event will take place on Cinco de Mayo this year, they are calling the spectacular evening “Cinco de Vino” and will combine Spanish cuisine by esteemed chef José Andrés with a diverse selection of some of the world’s finest wines from Champagne, Burgundy, Rhone, and America in addition to Spanish wines from Rioja, Ribera del Duero, and Priorat, making this the ultimate event for wine enthusiasts and philanthropists alike.
The event has been considered to be one of Los Angeles’ most highly anticipated discerning food and wine events. This year’s dinner will feature a Champagne reception to be followed by a spectacular four-course dinner of the highest culinary renown. Each course will be expertly paired with a flight of high-pedigree wines from across the globe.
Following the lavish dinner, the evening will conclude with an exciting live auction featuring exclusive lots, which include a dinner with the world’s leading authority on Burgundy, Allen Meadows, a collection of high-end and rare wines compiled by wine critic Robert Parker, and much more.
Proceeds from this exclusive event will go towards funding pediatric cancer research at the Bogart labs at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. To date, the annual event has raised nearly $2 million for this important cause. Tickets cost $1,250 per person or $10,000 per table of ten. Tickets and information may be obtained by calling 323.330.0509 or emailing info@bogartfoundation.org.
