Through a prestigious partnership, Richard Mille enters the world of polo with the new Richard Mille Polo Team, comprised of Prince Bahar from Bunei, UK-born Max Routeldge, and Argentinean players Pablo Mac Donough – ranked #1 in the 2010 World Polo Tour – and Alejandro Muzzio.
After their debut at Cowdray Park Polo Club, the team is now preparing for an intense approaching season. The players will be participating in some of the world’s most prestigious high-goal tournaments. In the UK, the team will be competing in the esteemed Harcourt Developments Queen’s Cup until June 12, to be followed by the high-profile Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup from June 21 to July 17. Later on in the summer, the team will then compete in Sotogrande at the Santa Maria Polo Club from July 27 to August 29.
The union between Richard Mille and polo will allow Richard Mille to further improve the quality of his products by outfitting his physically tested players with a Richard Mille timepiece while they compete on the field. Similarly to Felipe Massa, Rafael Nadal, and Bubba Watson, each Richard Mille Polo Team player will wear a custom-designed RM010 limited edition featuring an all-black DLC-treated case with a red dial and a black rubber strap bearing the team’s livery colors.
