News | May 11, 2011

Mr. Porter (brother site to the popular Net-a-Porter) is a designer fashion online shopping destination that offers the trendiest and latest styles for men. On May 10, the company held a private dinner in celebration of the luxury menswear designer, Simon Spurr. The dinner was held at the Chateau Marmont hotel and was hosted by Mr. Porter Edior-in-Chief, Jeremy Langmead, and Simon Spurr President, Tommy Fazio.  Partygoers included Joe Jonas, Kellan Lutz, Stephen Moyer, Dermot Mulroney, Colin Egglesfield, Xavier Samuel, and George Kotsiopoulos. Joe Jonas wore a classic two-button, three-piece Peak Lapel Charcoal Suit with pink detailing from the Simon Spurr FW 2011 Collection, while Kellan Lutz looked dapper in blue.

Simon Spurr was born in Kent, England and has served as head Menswear Designer for Calvin Klein and Design Director for Ralph Lauren Purple and Black Labels.  Since creating the SPURR Brand in 2006, Simon has been honored with many awards in the fashion industry, like the “Best New Menswear Designers in America” by GQ. Tommy Fazio, who was the Men’s Fashion Director at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, resigned from his position to become SPURR’s new President. That same year, Simon has also received a prestigious nomination for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award, making him a household name.
