Haute Dining: The ONE Group and Brand Essence Partner to Open Three New Bi-Coastal Restaurants this Summer
This summer, the emerging hospitality group Brand Essence will begin a partnership with the industry-leading restaurant and lifestyle company The ONE Group to embark on a bi-coastal venture to continue their nation-wide efforts to bring the best in food and drink, service, and entertainment to their discerning clientele with exciting new spots opening in New York City and Los Angeles.
The two groups have both been figures in the revitalization of NYC’s Meatpacking District and see their collaboration as a promising way to both build their brands individually, as well as to flourish together. Jonathan Segal, owner of The ONE Group, comments, “We see this partnership as two vibrant, emerging companies coming together to charge forward with a great concept and brand, tapping into and utilizing both companies’ strengths.”
In June 2011, the duo will be debuting the first of their joint efforts, Les Jardins, an exclusive restaurant and lounge located at the former West 27th Street B.E.D. roof deck. In July, they will be opening Bagatelle LA in the former Coco De Ville space next to STK, both of which The ONE Group is also responsible. Bagatelle LA will be the first-ever West Coast project for Brand Essence. The group will then head back east to reunite the city with the beloved Bagatelle NY, which will be making an exciting move to a new spot in the Meatpacking District, in September.
