The Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy had their 29th annual Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon today and raised more than $3 million. The luncheon’s host was Gillian Miniter and its co-chairs were Virginia Apple, Anne Harrison, Julia Koch, and Lizzie Tisch.

The rain did not hold these women back from wearing their fabulous hats. I sat with Lizzie Tisch, Amy Fine Collins, Emily Ford, Liz Lange, Lisa Blau, and Jane Wagman. Amy Fine Collins wore a butterfly hat and Lizzie Tisch wore a cupcake hat, and Martha Stewart came over to our table wondering if any one of us had made our own hats. I mean really, Martha, we are not you! There was also someone in a copy of a Princess Beatrice hat and a lady who looked like Minnie Mouse.

Debbie Peltz, Caryn Zucker, Evelyn Lauder, Nina Rennert, Susan Johnson, and newly married Caroline Berthet all looked beautiful in their hats.

My next stop was to Chris Mack’s house. Chris and Jennifer Creel have started a new jewelry line called Social Butterfly, which is totally cool.
