Designer Michelle Smith Hosts Bash for New Milly Digs on Madison Avenue

News | May 20, 2011

Established in 2000, her bold custom prints, brave use of color, and immaculate silhouettes have made this label a name that rolls of the tongues of New York’s select and Hollywood’s fashionistas, attracting a gamut of starlets from Jessica Biel to Cameron Diaz to Kristin Davis.  Thursday night, Milly designer and founder Michelle Smith alongside CEO Andrew Oshrin, Kimberly Thurston, Liz Victory Anderson, and Kamie Lightburn of the Central Park Conservancy Playground Partners raised their glasses in celebrations of the opening of the Milly Madison Avenue Boutique.

A litany of local celebs and socialites gallivanted through the new outpost skimming through racks of Milly apparel.  Gillian Miniter, Lydia Fenet, FOX’s Kimberly Guilfoyle, Ainsley Earhardt and Gigi Stone, CNN’s Poppy Harlow, “Morning Joe’s” Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, and CFDA’s Steven Kolb, and several more notables were on hand to congratulate Ms. Smith and her newest endevour.
