Celebrity Living: Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi $60 Million L.A. Compound Up for Grabs

You can own a piece of prime Hollywood real estate and comedic history all in one with just $60 million.  Television personality and comedian Ellen Degeneres, alongside actress and partner Portia de Rossi have grown tired of Lime Orchard address or neighbor Jessica Simpson singing in the shower.  The multi-residence property boasts an nearly 9,000-square-foot main house, a 2,500 square-foot guest home, and a 5,000 square-foot bunker house, with an 8 car garage

The couple reportedly purchased the compound back in December 2007 for $44 million, snatching up two adjacent properties in the elaborate sale. The main home offers, staff quarters and an underground garage situated athwart two separate private residences belonging to Degeneres and De Rossi.
