Hong Kong’s Hottest New Club Turns Up the Heat with Flaming Cocktails

News | April 27, 2011

One of Hong Kong’s hottest new nightclubs, Likuid has introduced an explosive menu of flaming cocktails with a fire juggling and flaring show complementing the action on Friday and Saturday nights.

The venue’s pyrotechnic menu features nine different cocktails including classics like a Flaming Lamborghini and Siwoncke (pictured), a drink made with Galliano.

The fiery performances are choreographed by bar manager Dilip Thapa who asserts that Likuid’s bar is a stage and everyone behind it actors and performers. “Everything we do is to entertain our customers and fuel the club with energy. There’s a cool factor to flaming drinks and photos of you drinking them make great profile pictures for Facebook!”

Likuid is also setting Hong Kong’s nightlife scene alight as the official venue for the Ministry of Sound with exclusive rights to stage Ministry of Sound DJs, parties and VIP events. Among other high profile events, Likuid will host the Freemasons, the huge dance act from the UK on May 6 and Alex Gaudino, on May 9.

Likuid is located at 58-62 D’Aguilar St., Lan Kwai Fong, Central, tel: 852.2179-5552, www.likuidhk.com.
