Haute Time: Parmigiani’s New Pershing 002 Timepiece

Since the inception of his eponymous brand in 1975, Michel Parmagiani has continued to scale new heights in the world of master watch-making. Parmagiani has manufactured a consistent line of timepieces bearing the utmost elegance and sublime craftsmanship. The new Pershing Chronographs are being touted as Parmagiani’s first major sports watch collection and were created in conjunction with Pershing Yachts, the famed Italian yacht builder, to depict the luxury and brilliance of the vast ocean.

The Pershing 002 timepieces is available in several finishes such as traditional Hermes leather, 100-meter water-resistant stainless steel, simple rubber straps, and a blinged-out baguette bezel, the 42mm diameter mother-of-pearl round case can be worn by both men and women. The sportier Pershing features the classic undulating lines of a “Côtes de Genève” dial, while the women’s, (shown above), boasts the finest detail of a delicate starfish floating in a sea of blue.
