Haute Couture: Martin Margiela Trunk Show

Martin Margiela is the fashion designer’s fashion designer. Thursday afternoon saw an array of stylists and members of the press converge at the Martin Maison Margiela boutique in Beverly Hills to witness the trunk show of the designer’s F/W 2011 runway collection. Naturally we were there to see what’s new at our favorite French Fashion House.

We love the bold accessories for men and women, as well as the leather wallets and camel color leather bags. We spotted some stunning red pieces in cardigans and tops for women, as well as navy blue tops and sweaters for Spring 2011. The Men’s collection looks very strong and stylish as well. The designer is not a follower of the fashion circus; he has a very strong and recognizable style season by season. You wont mistake his pieces for anyone else’s. The younger line MM6 looks pretty good as well, the same style ideas, sportier look and different price points.
