Copperstate 1000 Road Rally Field of Dreams Cruise In

On Sunday, April 10, the 21st Annual Bell Lexus Copperstate 1000 Road Rally will be rolling right up to Tempe’s Diablo stadium for the Field of Dreams Cruise In. Don’t miss this opportunity to ogle at more than 400 classics, muscle cars, exotics, street rods and others.

Beginning around 8 a.m., the west parking lot of Tempe Diablo Stadium will be transformed into a vintage car enthusiast’s dream come true, as the lot fills with some of the state’s finest vintage, sports, racing, classic and grand touring automobiles, and mingle with the car owners. There will also be raffles and giveaways throughout the event.

Get there early to get your eyeful, as the drivers will be participating in a European-style departure beginning at 10 a.m., so that the Copperstate 1000 participants can embark on their four-day, 1,000-mile road trip through Arizona.

The Copperstate 1000 was created in 1990 by the Men’s Arts Council (MAC) as a fundraiser for the Phoenix Art Museum and each year hosts approximately 75 qualifying, pre-1974 automobiles with drivers and co-drivers from all over North America. The entrance fee they pay enables them to enjoy a fully catered four-day experience, complete with occasional time trials, overnight accommodations, guided tours at points of interest along the rally route, and more.
