Celebrity Fashion Experience II at Lofty Spaces

Thursday night, March 31, Dallas represented its own fashion foray at Lofty Spaces. The second edition of the Celebrity Fashion Experience, courtesy of Front House Management, featured the fall/winter 2011 collections of Project Runway Designer Nicholas D’Aurizio, Dallas Celebrity Couturier Oscar Fierro and Linda Rowe Thomas of the Romẚs Label.

D’Aurizio’s collection featured Jackie-O inspired dresses and dress suits. The Project Runway Season 8 designer recently showcased his stunning collection at New York Fashion Week. Linda Rowe Thomas divulged her fall collection next, a sexy menage of sparkled fabrics and slinky looks. Dallas couturier Oscar Fierro wrapped up the evening with his elaborate gowns, touched with flowing trains, bright colors and even Africa-inspired turbans. As the show ended, Fierro added a final touch of his extreme style with a lap around the catwalk on a white miniature pony, donning a pastel top hat and a smile.

Karen Michelle, CEO of Front House Management, says Dallas may rank as one of the largest fashion buying cities, but has few fashion outlets in regards to fashion shows, events or marketing platforms for designers to target their designs to the Dallas industry and fashion consumers. After returning from New York Fashion week, Karen was inspired is to bring concrete fashion leads to Dallas.
