The Stats: After three decades in the Atlanta restaurant business, Bob Amick has become one of the most celebrated restaurateurs in the city, and has played a critical role in putting Atlanta’s dining scene on the map. In 2001, he began developing a series of high-profile chef-driven restaurants under the name Concentrics and in 2002 ONE. midtown kitchen opened and immediately raised the bar for food, dining and service in Atlanta.
Today Concentrics Restaurants, which also offers a full-service restaurant consultations service, boasts seven properties in Atlanta, including ONE, the sequel TWO urban licks, Parish, TAP as well as one in Winter Park Florida.
Don’t just take our word for it, his restaurants have receive accolades from all over, appearing in publications like, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bon Apetit, Gourmet, The Oprah Magazine, and InStyle magazine, along with having the first Atlanta chef to appear on the Food Network’s culinary showdown, “Iron Chef America” and a feature on “Rachael Ray’s Tasty Travels.”
