Stop by Uncle Pete’s for a Visit

News | February 20, 2011

Everyone wishes they had an uncle just like good ‘ole Uncle Pete.  Equally versed in hip clothing for men and women, Uncle Pete’s offering is fully trendy without being too runway chic. It is a boutique that has everyday wearable clothing that is neither drab nor dull, but is still comfortable and unique enough to turn a head or two. You’re likely to find your favorite new pair of pants or shirt here… and then or 4 more of each. Ladies looks are fun and flirty. Men’s garb is loose and almost accidentally cool offering a  carefully chosen selection of designers’ best.

Uncle Pete’s feels like a big walk in closet of a close friend who likes to share clothes.  Everything looks worn in a comfortable and inviting way. Don’t be surprised if you are tempted to grab and armful of clothes to try on.  Just remember – it isn’t really a big walk in closet – so be sure to head to the changing rooms first.

There is a surprising diversity of collections to encounter including French brand Hype Means Nothing, Band of Outsiders from former Hollywood agent Scott Sternberg, and Simon Miller Jeans from a New Zealand native who has all of her collection hand sewn from denim taken from a 100 year old Japanese mill. Other interesting collections to experience for both men and women include Society for Rational Dressers, Vena Cava, Sea, Rozae Nichols, Dark Shadow and under.ligne.

Uncle Pete’s is located at 125 Charles Street, Beacon Hill, Boston 617.391.0895
