Save the Date: Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne All-Star Charity Tennis Event
On March 22, The Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center at The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne will host their second annual All-Star Charity Tennis Event. The 2010 Sony Ericsson winners will be back for an intimate gathering before they take part in their next tournament happening on March 23.
Top tennis professionals will be enjoying a champagne reception with hors d’oeuvres starting from 4 to 8 p.m., while interacting in various tennis matches. Some of the greats will include Andy Roddick, Caroline Wozniaki, Kim Clijsters, Guillermo Cañas and Ryan Harrison. The event will be led by Cliff Drysdale, Tennis Director Mark Chellas and ESPN tennis analyst Daren Cahill.
Spectators can come and enjoy the festivities with early reservations, as the Ritz will only be able to accommodate 150 visitors. Locals who want to join in on the fun are able to qualify for the “Round Robin” tournament where they will can play against the pros in the “King of the Court” challenge. Tickets vary ranging from $3,000 for VIP All Access Pass that includes a meet and great with the tennis champs, $250 for each player interested in playing with the tennis pros and $65 per person to sit back, drink and watch the action.
All of the proceeds will help benefit the Greater Miami Tennis & Education Foundation, giving less fortunate kids a chance to learn tennis with free education during both the school year and the summer.
