Save the Date: Project Runway’s Peach Carr Hosts Chicago Fashion Foundation Scholarship Event

The Chicago Fashion Foundation is celebrating their fourth annual CFF Scholarship Event hosted by Peach Carr from Project Runway on Thursday, March 3, 2011. This fabulous evening will take place at the Chicago History Museum and will aid in raising money for scholarships for local Chicago fashion design students.

The CFF is a group of working professionals and students that focus on supporting Chicago’s fashion community. This amazing foundation is made up of men and women who are a part of various areas of the fashion realm. From fashion writers , editors, designers, manufacturers, and so many more!

Attendees will get to view a runway show in which will showcase the work of students based on their theme for this year of “Chicago’s Music Scene”. The pieces will be judged by local fashion contributors like 24/Chicago’s Catie Keogh and Amanda Monteiro from Geogio Armani and Chicago designer, Lara Miller. There will be scholarships awarded to second and third place winners. The first place winner will receive a $5,000 fashion design scholarship, wow!

This stylish night will be flowing with cocktails by Little Black Dress Wines and Absolut Vodka along with a silent auction. Goodie bags will be given to the first 100 people to arrive, so get there early! Go to www.ChicagoFashionFoundation to get your tickets.
